The First Time I Said, “This Is My Offer”

When I launched Elevatus, I chose a different path than most new founders. I went lean. Three offers. That’s it.

Most new founders try to sell too much, too fast. They build a buffet of choices and hope someone takes a plate. The result? Confused customers and a tired founder before the work even begins.

In the beginning, my offers were very simple. One hour of coaching for $350. The Parenting Plan Reset for $75. And the 7-Day Elevatus Reset was free, built as a guide anyone could use to get started. That was my whole menu. Small. Direct. Easy to understand.

It wasn’t fancy, but it gave me momentum. I knew the value of what I was sharing. My challenge was showing that value in a way people could see and trust. It took me about eight weeks to learn how to package and price it the right way.

My First Lesson

At first, my offers made sense to me, but not always to others. I knew the value inside. The clients who worked with me felt it too. But from the outside, the offers lacked the clear structure that makes them easy to trust.

It took some reflection, but this is what I concluded:

  • People don’t just buy results. They buy results explained in plain language.

  • People don’t just pay for time. They pay for a clear service with a clear price.

I had the right skills and tools. What I needed was a better way to show them.

Eight Weeks of Learning

In those first eight weeks, I learned lessons I still use today:

  1. Packaging matters. People need to see what they are getting.

  2. Pricing matters. Too low makes people doubt. Too high without proof makes them walk away.

  3. Clarity builds speed. The clearer the offer, the faster people say yes.

But there was something else happening too. I was also learning how to build trust.

Free Content Builds Trust

During those weeks, I shared a lot of free content—guides, blog posts, tips, and tools. Each one gave me feedback:

  • What people clicked on.

  • What questions they asked.

  • What solved real problems.

That feedback helped me shape my offers. But the free content also did more than that. It showed people they could trust me. Every blog post and guide was proof that I cared about their struggles and had tools to help.

That trust was not an accident. It was part of the plan. I now call it trust optimization—the practice of showing up with value before asking for anything in return.

The Turning Point

The big change came the first time I said: This is my offer.” Out loud. Clear. Priced. Packaged. Real.

No half answers. No extra words. No nervous disclaimers. Just a direct statement.

That moment mattered more than the logo, the website, or even the business bank account. Because until I could explain my offer with confidence, nothing else mattered.

From Three Offers to a Full Library

Eight weeks later, those three slim offers grew into a library of programs. What started as a coaching call, a Parenting Plan Reset, and a free 7-Day Reset turned into a set of tools you can now see here: Elevatus Product Library.

Each new product came from data, trust, and clarity. Every blog post, every free guide, every client question helped me refine and expand

Why This Still Matters

That early season became the DNA of Elevatus. The clarity I earned then is the clarity I use now. Instead of a buffet of unclear promises, I built a small set of programs with clear outcomes:

  • Ironclad Parenting Plan Program → the most complete system for parents and professionals to build strong parenting plans.

  • Launch Ready → a simple path for service-based solopreneurs to launch lean and skip the stress I went through.

  • Discovery Advantage → a guide for new coaches and creators to grow trust and visibility.

And for anyone who needs a safe first step, there is still the 7-Day Elevatus Reset—the free guide that started it all.

Reflection

It took me eight weeks to see that momentum does not come from ideas alone. It comes from clear packaging, confident pricing, and a foundation of trust.

The first time I said “This is my offer” and believed it, everything changed. I was no longer just someone with an idea. I was a founder with a system that people could believe in.

That same change is what I help my clients make today: moving from vague ideas to clear offers that people can understand, trust, and buy.
