Every so often, a simple question becomes a doorway into a bigger conversation. Not too long ago, I found myself chatting with someone curious about coaching, and they asked me something that stuck with me: “What does success mean for the people you work with?” It was one of those questions that made me pause and really think, because the truth is, success isn’t a one-size-fits-all finish line. It’s more like a personal blueprint that each of us gets to design and redesign as we go.
So who’s this for? It’s for anyone who’s ever felt like they’re running someone else’s race, measuring themselves by someone else’s yardstick and wondering why it doesn’t quite fit. The problem we’re tackling is the idea that there’s only one right way to be successful. Instead, I’m inviting you to consider that success is something you get to define for yourself, in a way that fits your life, your values, and your journey.
Why does this matter? Because when you free yourself from that one-size-fits-all definition, you get to build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. You get to be more resilient, more motivated, and more at peace with your own path. And that’s a pretty powerful thing in a world that often nudges us to compare ourselves to others.
So here’s my invitation: take a little time to think about what success means to you. If the definition you’ve been using doesn’t quite fit anymore, give yourself the freedom to change it. And if you want a little guidance on that journey, I’m here to help. Reach out for a coaching session where we can explore what success looks like for you and how to create a path that’s uniquely yours.
