Most people think they need a website, ads, and a lot of money to start a business. That’s not true.

On July 21, 2025, I filed Elevatus Coaching as an LLC. By August 18, 2025, the business was fully operational—less than one month later.

I didn’t do everything. I focused only on what mattered. I call this the Minimum Viable Business (MVB) setup.

Step 1: Structure (LLC + EIN)

Why it matters: A structure makes your business real and keeps you safe.

I started with an LLC (Limited Liability Company). An LLC protects your personal life. If your business gets sued or owes money, your house, car, or bank account are safer. It also shows the world you are serious.

Next, I got an EIN (Employer Identification Number) from the IRS. Think of it like a Social Security number for your business. Banks use it to open accounts. You’ll also use it for taxes. It’s free and takes only minutes to request online.

Together, the LLC and EIN gave Elevatus a backbone. My idea became a legal business.

Step 2: Bank

Why it matters: Your money must be separate. Mixing personal and business money is messy and risky.

With my LLC and EIN, I opened a business bank account. The bank asked for three things:

  • Articles of Incorporation (proof my LLC existed).

  • EIN letter (the number from the IRS).

  • Operating Agreement (a simple outline of how the business runs).

Once I handed those over, Elevatus had its own financial life. Money could flow in and out under the business name. That moment made the business feel official in a new way.

Step 3: Brand Skeleton

Why it matters: People need to know who you are. At the start, you don’t need a full brand. You only need the bones.

For Elevatus, the brand skeleton began with the logo I designed myself: an upward arrow made of three stacked mountains.

The space between the mountains matters. It shows that we never start over. We rise from experience. Each climb builds on the last. The arrow points upward because no matter how hard the reset, the direction is always higher.

That symbol is Elevatus. It tells the story of rising through resets.

I also chose colors with meaning:

  • Slate Blue → Calm and steady.

  • Deep Navy Blue → Strong and trustworthy.

  • Golden Yellow → Bright energy, action.

  • Beige and White → Warm and clear.

This simple skeleton gave Elevatus an identity. I didn’t need a polished website or ads. The bones were enough.

Why This Works

The MVB setup removes the noise. You don’t need:

  • A website on day one.

  • Paid ads or a big following.

  • A long business plan.

You only need three things:

  1. Structure → Legal and safe.

  2. Bank → Clean money system.

  3. Brand skeleton → Identity and message.

Everything else can grow later.

My Proof

From July 21 to August 18, 2025, Elevatus Coaching went from legal filing to fully operational. Not because I did everything, but because I focused on the essentials.

Your Turn

If you’re wondering where to start, keep it simple.

Ask yourself: Do I have my structure, my bank, and my brand skeleton?

If yes—you’re ready. Don’t wait for perfect. Start lean. Build strong.
